At the intersection of S.W. 4th Avenue & Highway 201 near the Ontario Airport travel west through the intersection. Turn right after roughly one quarter of a mile onto the gravel road. Follow the road down over the bluff to the range.

New Card System Available at Sporting Clays

The New Card System at the Ontario Shotgun Range is ready and available to use for Sporting Clays. This will allow you to use the entire Sporting Clays Range unless there is a club scheduled match that day. Please check our Calendar of Events to see if any of these are scheduled when you would like to shoot.

You must be a member of the Snake River Sportsmen and complete a Memorandum of Understanding in order to receive the gate code at the Ontario Shotgun Range. The Memorandum of Understanding is available on our website once you log in as a member. Look for a link on most pages that refer to Shotgun Shooting. Please read through the Memorandum of Understanding and indicate your agreement on the paragraphs in order to receive the gate code at the end of the process. You will also receive an email after you complete the process that has the gate code. This code allows you to access the Ontario Shotgun Range only and is different from the gate code at the Vale Rifle and Pistol Range.

You can purchase the pre-loaded Bird Cards in two different ways:

There will be a Kiosk Machine on the front of the Club House that will allow you to purchase either a 100 Bird Card for $40 or a 300 Bird Card for $120 using your plastic card to pay. These are pre-loaded with the number of birds as this machine does not have the ability to add birds.
There will be someone available at the Shotgun Range Clubhouse on pre-announced dates and times to allow you to purchase cards for any number of birds that you want to purchase. These will cost 35¢ per bird for up to 1,000 birds. If you purchase 1,000 birds or more at one time the cost is reduced to 30¢ per bird.
